I love torturing myself
You know I have a sweet deal with my little downtown pad. I don’t really think I’ll be moving anytime soon, which is what spurred this whole apartment makeover in the first place. Well, that and it really needed it also. heh Now there is this awful thing going on in my ceiling - popcorn! First off, the look is totally dated and I am not digging it at all.
So, after countless hours of research on the web I think removing the popcorn ceiling would be a project I can do on my own. Well, the help of a friend would be awesome. But I have learned not to count on it. Now, I came across this home makeover blog this young recently married couple started as a way to document their DIY project - revamping their newly purchased home. The woman (badass as she is) did the removal of the popcorn ceiling herself. Encouraging!
I am so random and inconsistent - heh no one knows me better than me - and well, this is something I am considering in like a year or so. If I am still here… which is very likely. Because I know in a year I will hate that popcorn even more…….ugh
